Why Pigs Don't Fly

I would just like to start out my little rant by saying Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays, Seasons Greetings, Happy New Year...all that crap. Personally, I'm glad the holiday season is over. It's almost, not quite but almost, as bad as football (not soccer....damn Americans and your name stealing ways!) season. That's saying something. I would now like to start the topic of discussion this fine, rainy Seattle evening, why pigs don't fly! That's right! I've decided to shout into the bottomless pit of this internet webpage I've created, once again. I don't like social networking and I felt like I wasn't sharing my opinions with the world enough lately so I've taken up the one thing that's keeping me from talking to myself on this boring time off school. Most people would assume that pigs don't fly because they don't have wings, correct? But I'm here to tell you otherwise. I am going to make a very SHOCKING statement now. Pigs DO fly! I've said it. And I am correct! You probably think I'm just being silly or lying out my nose right now. However, it's true. Pig's DO fly, all the time in fact. In fact, I see police officers at the airport all the time.

Distracted thinking...

Wouldn't it be great if the sun and the moon joined together to make one amazing translucent sphere? Then the day sky could darken so that it was a dark blue, somewhere in the middle of the daylight sky and the night sky color. Then the stars and clouds could all form into one being. But the time of day and night should not change. They should stay as equal intervals forever though. The day could have all these new elements. It could be the mix of day and night. Then a whole new night could come...compete darkness. An absolute black. But I have a feeling that humanity would go crazy with 12 hours of absolute black everyday. So they could make dim lights. Then the night would forever be a time of sunrise and sunset as we know it. With two mini suns. One in the north and one in the south. The world then would be a beautiful place. All would be right, peace would come. No one would be born, but no one could ever die. Fights wouldn't happen. No longer would humanity struggle for freedom or leadership. This is the land of absolute. Can you imagine it? When I think of "perfect" this is what comes to mind. But this land would also have to be forever able to be quiet. For that there would have to be only me. This would be my place. Of course, silence is a powerful thing. So I would have to be able to make as much noise as I want. As to over ride the silence. This place is perfect. It cannot be meddled by others. If a problem arises, there is a quick fix. This is the world of ME. The world that I create. The world inside my head. I'm probably just shouting into nothingness right now. But my world needs to be known. It needs to forever have a place where it can live. Now it has one, and it will forever stay alive. For eternity. THANK YOU EVERYBODY THIS OFFICIALLY GOT RID OF MY WRITER'S BLOCK! I CAN NOW CONTINUE THAT STORY I POSTED EARLIER!

New Idea For A Novel

This is a new idea for a novel I'm thinking about writing. What do you think? Has it got what it takes? Of course, I still have to give the main character a name. And I have to set up her depressing past a little bit more. She has to be so messed up from life that she has no emotions, and can do whatever she wants. What do you think about it? A bored girl, wanting a little bit of amusement in her life....

(unnamed), a bored middle schooler is looking for some meaning to life. She has been an orphan ever since her parents abandonded her as a child and she has no friends to speak of. She's "just stuck in a rut". One day, while pondering if there would ever be something amusing in her school life again, she finds a book lying on the floor in the hall. She loves reading books, so she picks it up and brings it with her to a nearby park. When she opens the book, she finds the words "All your heart's desires" written in an eligent script on the dedications page. On the next page it says "Write what you want on the pages, but be carful what you wish for..." She sees that someone has already wished for something, "a million wishes" it says.(unnamed) just smiles and pulles out a pen "Now where do I start?"
